The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist servers in managing the flow of service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining room.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and guest requests.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order delivery and presentation.
