Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. The Food Runner will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to maintain the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area.
Duties
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, including bussing dishes and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including assisting with food preparation as needed.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu items to provide recommendations and answer guest inquiries effectively.
- Support servers by refilling drinks, providing additional utensils, and addressing any guest needs promptly.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and basic food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
