SUMMARY
The Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Analyst will proactively implement improvements to manufacturing processes that lead to overall enhancements in product quality. The individual will be responsible for maintenance of document control programs, calibrations, support execution of equipment validation, and provide internal and external audit support. The schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00am to 7:00pm CST with flexibility to adjust the schedule based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintenance and execution of document control program within Sartori Whey
- Maintenance and execution of calibration program
- Leads facility inspections, glass and plastic, and internal audits to assure adherence to quality and food safety standards.
- Assists in equipment quality validation
- Assists audit preparedness efforts and implement/communicate to Sartori Whey team any necessary audit compliance and regulatory changes.
- Assists in customer complaint investigations.
- Translates complex findings into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
- Maintain pest management program within Sartori Whey
- Backup Provision: In the absence of the FSQ Analyst, the Sartori Whey QA Manager will fulfill the food safety responsibilities of the FSQ Analyst.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalency, required.
- Experience working with front line leaders and production teams on quality systems, compliance standards and continuous improvement standards.
- Experience working in a food or converting facility, desirable.
- Associate’s degree in biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Nutrition, or related field, preferred.
- Travel to the corporate office (PV), Willow Road, and Sartori Whey may be required.
- Valid driver's license required. Must maintain a clean driving record to remain insurable under the company’s insurance policy.

HACCP and SQF Practitioner Certification preferred
