Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion serving and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests in our family restaurant.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Operate POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service while managing time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu items, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Requirements
- Bartending experience in a restaurant not required but a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales calculations.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.75 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
