Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Supervisor to oversee our construction projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage teams effectively. Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers to plan work schedules, allocate resources, and manage project timelines.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Primavera, and Prolog for project management and documentation.
- Read and interpret schematics to guide construction activities accurately.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Train and mentor team members in safe work practices, equipment usage, and job responsibilities.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site using tools like an ohmmeter for electrical tasks as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry or related field.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes is preferred.
- Proficient in using industry-standard software such as ProCore, Primavera, and Prolog for project management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- A solid understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
