Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest services in a hotel or resort environment.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Operate phone systems to answer calls promptly and assist guests with their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Address any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality management at all times.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
- Experience in front desk operations within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- A background in customer service.
