Our client is a premier OB/GYN network serving the Greater Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland region. Their GYN Oncology division is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Call Center Representative to join their fast-paced, patient-focused practice. This full-time role is primarily based in Fairfax, VA.
About the Role:
They are a high-volume, compassionate GYN Oncology practice committed to delivering exceptional care. The Call Center Representative will manage high call volumes, schedule appointments, and support front-office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume incoming calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments
- Accurately relay patient messages to clinical teams and physicians via EMR
- Provide courteous and effective communication to patients, families, and internal staff
- Assist with front desk coverage and general administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform additional office support duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical call center or medical front desk setting (required)
- Solid understanding of medical office operations and insurance terminology
- Experience with EMR systems (NextGen preferred)

Technical Requirements:
