Mireles Autism and Behavioral Center (MABC) is looking for 1 front desk staff. Our team is made up of therapists that help children with autism deal with behavioral challenges. We are looking to hire immediately someone who is confident to work in a fast-paced environment and can take charge in their position. This position includes duties such as: answering phones, organizing and restocking clinic needs, making and confirming appointments, verifying insurances and benefits, as well as taking down patient insurance and demographic information. Other key responsibilities include the following:
- Working and communicating with BCBA's, Doctors, Psychologists, SLPs, and OT's
- Uploading and faxing required paperwork to outside offices
- Distributing and filing patient paperwork
- Contacting and working with other doctors’ offices
- Scheduling patients for appointments
- Sorting and filing patient information into their charts.
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
- Willing to be a team-player and help administrators as needed.
- Restock supplies as needed.
- Checking out technicians
- Locking up the building in the evenings
