Tiffin Bites is a vibrant casual fusion restaurant bringing flavors from around the world together under one roof. We're seeking a friendly, responsible, and energetic Part-Time Cashier to join our team. This front-of-house role is essential to creating a welcoming customer experience and ensuring smooth order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu questions.
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle payments and run the cash register.
- Package takeout and dine-in orders efficiently and neatly.
- Make drinks to order.
- Communicate with the kitchen team regarding any special customer requests.
- Maintain a clean and stocked dining area, including clearing and wiping down tables.
- Replenish utensils, napkins, condiments, and supplies as needed.
- Support the team with light cleaning duties and closing tasks.
Experience & Skills
- Previous customer service or cashier experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person!
- Friendly, positive attitude and great communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items (up to 25 lbs).
