Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front office team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a strong background in hospitality management. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless guest experience, managing front desk operations, and leading the team to uphold our standards of excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Oversee night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front office staff to promote a positive work environment and high performance.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest relations.
- Implement hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and maintain proper phone etiquette at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a front office management role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and front desk operations is essential.
- Knowledge of night audit processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for hospitality and guest relations is essential for success in this role.
