Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team and open a new Johnny Rockets. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, an understanding of fine dining standards, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently.
Skills
- Strong math skills for handling payments and making change accurately.
- Experience with cash registers and POS systems is essential.
- Familiarity with fine dining service standards is preferred, along with experience in nightclub settings being a plus.
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items to assist guests with their selections.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
