Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma, GED or its equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have computer mastery in spreadsheet, word processing, database, and Internet applications.
General Description of Positions: Works closely with the Director of Adult Education on the day-to-day operation of the program. Duties may include assisting instructors in academic areas, and / or life skills. The position requires being at work on time each workday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Enter attendance and updates statement information in the LACES database.
2. Complete students’ intake information.
3. Administers the TABE and GED Ready/Practice Tests.
4. Consults with general public (friendly and patience).
5. Prepares and processes purchase orders.
6. Assists with recruitment/promotions of the program.
7. Assists with graduation and other program functions.
8. Takes minutes at staff related meeting.
9. Checks the mail and other duties assigned.
10. Help with keeping center/kitchen clean and presentable.
11. Assist in scheduling the Official GED Tests / GED Ready Tests.
12. Observes and documents behavior incidents and medical matters.
13. Contacts non-attending students.
14. Completes NRS call-logs when contacting students.
15. Attends in-service training, conference, and staff meeting.
16. Must be able to follow set procedures and may be required to exercise independent judgment in caring out responsibilities.
17. Attend training to better understand Career Pathways and WIOA
18. Perform other duties assigned by the Director.

Reports to:
Adult Education faculty and staff members report to the Director of the Adult Education Program at Arkansas Baptist College Adult Education program.
