Our clinical treatment team provides excellent mental health care for patients throughout the lifespan, from young children to elder care. We also provide social and emotional support counseling within various school settings in Rhode Island (including public, private, and charter) while collaborating with school support staff to ensure wrap-around care is established and maintained.
Job Description
The Mental Health Clinician provides compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, families, or groups experiencing mental health challenges. This roleprovides individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, child therapy and psycho-education to various populations of the RI communities.

Job Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and treatment goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients
- Provide individual, family, or group therapy using clinically appropriate modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in care coordination with primary care providers, schools, case managers, or other external partners
- Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed
- Respond to clinical crises, provide risk assessments, and develop safety plans
- Attend supervision, team meetings, and training to maintain licensure and professional development
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards aligned with licensing boards and HIPAA
Qualifications
- LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A and LMFT
- Pre-LMHC and Pre-LMFT
- Master's degree within related field, eligible for license
- Experience with various populations and ages
- Expertise in multiple areas - including child and family counseling, substance abuse, & mental health
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication as well as organization skills
Job Requirements:
- Occasional lifting and carrying light office supplies or materials (up to 20 lbs)
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to navigate stairs in buildings without elevator access
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as computers, phones, printers and copiers.

Salary $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Offers made to an individual candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to professional experience, skill set and overall fit for the position.
