Overview: A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, compassionate nanny to provide full-time care for their 3 month old son when Mom returns to work in July. Mom works from home in a home office.
The ideal candidate will have a background in child development, strong infant care experience, a nurturing approach, and a passion for child development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and loving care, ensuring the infant's safety, well being, and developmental needs are met.
- Plan and engage in age appropriate activities to support growth and development.
- Bottle prep and eventually Food (puree) prep when child transitions to solids.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in spaces shared with the child.
- Do infant laundry.
- Occasionally go to the grocery store while baby is napping since mom works from home.
- Meal prep for the family is a huge bonus but not a deal breaker.
- If the child has a cold/virus they would like someone that is willing to provide sick care.
- Qualifications:
- CPR and first aid Certification required.
- Able to pass a background check (or already has one).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with infants as a nanny.
- Must be fully vaccinated.
- Prior experience caring for infants and an understanding of child development.
- A patient, kind, and flexible demeanor.
- Reliable, energetic, and positive.
- Excellent references are a must.
