We’re helping a lovely family in Long Island find a reliable, experienced nanny/family assistant to care for their toddler daughter and help with light housekeeping.
The role begins at the end of June or early July and is 3–4 days per week (Tuesday to Friday 8am–6pm,), averaging 30–35 hours/week. The position involves toddler care, developmental play, feeding, child laundry, dishes, and keeping play and living areas clean. The family is respectful, team-oriented, and values a nanny who is professional, proactive, and experienced—ideally someone confident supporting developmental stages and comfortable offering guidance to a hands-on mom.
They are open to someone commuting from the city and are happy to cover Uber or train costs for the right person. This is a long-term role for someone who takes pride in both childcare and home care and doesn’t need a lot of direction. Not a fit for someone looking for a first nanny job—career nannies are encouraged to apply.
