Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and installation of various types of furniture in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical components when necessary.
- Ensure that all installations are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service during the installation process.
- Conduct final inspections of installed furniture to ensure functionality and aesthetics meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for after each job.
Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture installation or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues as they arise.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of using an ohmmeter is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
