Precise Garage Doors Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in a wide range of garage door installation and repair tasks. This role requires hands-on expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors and components, ensuring safe and proper operation
- Utilize hand and power tools efficiently to complete installations and service calls
- Read and interpret blueprints or job specifications to perform accurate installations
- Complete related carpentry tasks including fixture, cabinet, and door installations as needed
- Inspect garage door systems thoroughly and diagnose any mechanical or safety issues
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain services, findings, and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Garage Door Technician (required)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Experience with frame carpentry, trim work, or related trades is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
