Job Title: General Laborer – Utility & Pipe Installation
Responsibilities:
- Excavation & Digging: Perform manual digging and trenching for utility and pipe installation.
- Pipe Installation: Assist in laying, aligning, and securing pipes for water, sewer, and gas systems.
- Utility Installation: Support the installation of underground utilities, including electrical and plumbing systems.
- Site Preparation: Load and unload materials, set up equipment, and prepare work areas.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear.
- Equipment Operation: Use hand tools and power tools such as jackhammers, drills, and saws.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Clear debris, maintain tools, and ensure worksite cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, pipe laying, or utility installation preferred.
- Skills: Ability to operate tools, follow instructions, and work efficiently in a team.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
Experience:
- 2 year of experience in construction or related field preferred.
- Experience installing water main lines over 4" diameter and above preferred
- Experience plumbing preferred
- Experience with asphalt and concrete Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
