Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components in vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repairs.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on vehicles for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or in a similar automotive repair role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in automotive service.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely in an automotive environment.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
