REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, IT, or a related field to support the administration of geospatial systems AND 2+ years of experience relevant to GIS system administration
- Gained 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise GIS environments, ensuring system stability and performance for scientific and operational users.
- Applied proficiency with ArcGIS 10.x (or higher), ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Enterprise to support installation, upgrades, and day-to-day administration.
- Provided support for multi-user GIS systems by troubleshooting data layer access, performing routine maintenance, and managing platform upgrades across user groups.
- Utilized scripting skills in Python or geoprocessing tools to automate tasks, assist with data transformations, and improve operational efficiency.
- Adapted to hybrid work environments by supporting users both on-site and remotely, ensuring continuity of GIS services across physical and virtual infrastructure.
