We’re hiring a part-time Geotechnical Engineering Technician, with the option to grow into a full-time role. The position includes mostly lab work, with occasional time in the field.
What you’ll do:
- Run soil mechanics tests (Atterberg, compaction, shear, etc.) per ASTM standards
- Assist with sample prep, logging, and data recording
- Support field work (sampling, compaction testing, site observations)
- Keep lab and equipment organized
What we’re looking for:
- Some experience in geotechnical lab testing or field work preferred
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn
- Valid driver’s license; able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in both lab and outdoor environments
Flexible hours, with potential to transition to full-time based on workload and performance.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
