Glazier Apprentice - Glass Installer Apprentice - Helper/Laborer - Trinity Glass Company Incorporated a full service glass contractor in the Northern Virginia area is looking for smart talented individuals who are looking to learn the glass installation trade and become a professional glazier.
Trinity Glass is in “LORTON VIRGINIA” at 8926 Telegraph Road, Lorton, VA 22079.
We are looking for very smart fast learning individuals willing to grow with the company, we are seeking for individuals looking for a long term commitment.
The glazier trade is a very good prestigious career, you will be a highly skilled tradesman; with all the booming construction in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area you are also entering a very stable trade. These are some of the skills you will acquire during your training period; you will learn how to cut glass, replace glass in residential and commercial applications, you will learn how to build and install commercial storefront as well as interior glass partitions. We offer a starting hourly pay of $20.00 dollars an hour to individuals with no experience on the glass industry. We offer a higher competitive pay to professional individuals with experience in the glass field. Candidates Requirement: High School Diploma or GED, must speak understand and write English very fluently, must have good reliable transportation, must have a valid driver’s license, must have a good clean driving record, must pass a drug screening, must not be afraid of heights, must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds, must not be afraid to operate large vehicles and heavy equipment, must have a good stable employment history, must have good references, applicants must be able to work flexible hours, must be willing to volunteer to work over 40 hours a week when necessary, must be able to work weekends and nights when necessary, must submit a resume, we will reject any candidates without resume. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of glass by preparing and handling materials safely.
- Utilize hand and power tools to assist experienced installers in various tasks.
- Follow blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate measurements and placements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
- Support team members in heavy lifting and transporting glass panels.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety during installations.
