Job Title: Golf Course Maintenance Worker - Seasonal
Department: Parks and Facilities

Reports To: Superintendent of Golf
Summary
Performs maintenance duties within the Rob Roy Golf course and Park District.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs by use of reel-type and rotary mowers
· Change putting green cups on greens
· Assist in aerating and top dressing greens
· Operation of irrigation pumps
· Plant and care of trees and shrubbery, and flower beds
· Snow Removal
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
· Must arrive at work on time
Risk Management
· Actively supports and enforces the safety program instituted by the Park District
- Maintains a working knowledge of all general agency and department-specific safety rules
- Attends required safety program and in-service education meetings as directed
- Corrects unsafe conditions and/or reports them to your director supervisor
- Uses material handling equipment or staff assistance when lifting and/or moving objects 50 pounds or heavier
Required Qualifications:
· Must have the ability to operate equipment and tools safely and proficiently
· Must possess ability to work in team efficiently.
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Recommended Qualifications:
- Be in good physical condition and must have the ability to handle strenuous and varied physical activity in all weather, including but not limited to, extensive lifting, standing, walking and climbing.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
