Northwood Golf Club located in Monte Rio, California, is looking to fill an open position in the maintenance department for Maintenance Worker II. Northwood is recognized as one of the top nine-hole golf courses in the nation. We are looking for hard working, reliable individuals with strong attention to detail, to staff the maintenance crew. Previous golf course maintenance work experience is required for this position. Work in a beautiful outdoor setting with free golf privileges on a space available basis.
Job Duties include:
-Irrigation repairs
-Equipment maintenance
-Daily greens mowing
-Course set-up
-Weedwacking
-Raking bunkers and leaves
-Watering
-Detail landscaping
-Other general labor tasks
-Shifts are from 6am-2pm
-Full or part time available
Job Requirements include:
-Previous employment in golf course maintenance of at least one year
-Able to walk 5 miles per day on uneven ground
-Able to lift 50 pounds
-Possess a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age
-Act in a courteous manner towards customers, coworkers, and management.
-Maintain the golf course to standards set by the Superintendent
