Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Shop Attendant to join our team at Franklin County Country Club! Our Golf Shop Attendants are responsible for smooth operation of the golf shop and providing excellent customer service to all of our members and guests. This includes tasks like greeting members and their guests, making tee time reservations, handling sales transactions (green fees, merchandise, etc.), maintaining the shop's appearance, answering phones and assisting with golf operations.
Duties
- Administer point of sales transactions and maintain the day-to-day golf reservation systems by reserving tee times, checking-in customers, and receiving payments by member charge or credit card.
- Answer member and guest questions in-person and over the phone
- Maintain a clean and organized golf shop
- Assist with golf services by helping cart staff bring up carts and clean during times of heavy volume.
- Check out the cart staff at the end of their shift.
- Keep a working knowledge of all upcoming tournaments and programs to provide accurate information to guests.
- Maintain records of daily play on golf course and other data within the tee sheet
- Perform other duties as assigned or required by upper management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues efficiently
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must have a basic understanding of golf
- Must maintain a professional appearance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
