Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. MGA has five campuses-Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins, all located in central Georgia-and global outreach through its fully-online campus. Job Summary
This position will be responsible for recruiting and leading graduate students through the admission and enrollment process at Middle Georgia State University in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment. The graduate recruiter will be responsible for managing a recruitment territory to support the University's enrollment plan. This position will specialize in graduate student recruitment but will provide assistance to the recruitment strategies at large.
Responsibilities
Territory Management (35%) -
Plans, schedules, and executes recruitment events and activities
Represents the university at recruitment events for prospective Graduate students
Performs weekly territory analysis, makes strategic adjustments to recruitment efforts as needed
Customer Experience Management (40%) -
Provides "case management" approach leading prospective students through the admission and enrollment process which includes a variety of communication strategies.
Administrative Duties (20%) -
Manages Graduate Admissions communication tools, including department email account, social media accounts, CRM
Review and evaluate graduate applicants.
Maintains records of recruitment events, participants, and other relevant data
Assists with the development of promotional literature.
Attends professional meetings and training workshops.
Performs a Variety of Related Duties (5%) -
Promotes and enhances community partnerships and relationships through collaboration with Academic Affairs and other Campus Stakeholders.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Other Required Qualifications
Ability to travel extensively.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Willing to work some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position.
Prior territory management/sales experience.
Other Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of international student enrollment.

Knowledge of Middle Georgia State University academic programs, schools and departments and related degree requirements.
