The Grant & Donor Relations Coordinator supports the mission of Thrive Alliance by managing grant application and reporting processes, cultivating donor relationships, and ensuring connection within our communities. This role bridges the work of grant writing with donor engagement to help secure and sustain the funding needed to power our agency mission.
Key Outcomes, Expectations and Responsibilities:Grant Coordination:
? Research, identify, and track prospective grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
? Prepare and submit proposals, letters of inquiry, and required documentation in collaboration with program and finance staff, as needed.
? Maintain an organized grants calendar to ensure timely submissions and reporting compliance.
? Gather program data, financial information, and success stories to strengthen grant applications and reports.
Donor Relations & Stewardship
? Create and implement donor stewardship plans to strengthen relationships with community donors
? Graft personalized thank-you letters, impact updates, and recognition materials for donors
? Support donor engagement events, site visits, and cultivation activities
? Maintain accurate donor records within a donor database
Reporting & Data Management
? Prepare interim and final reports for funders, ensuring accurace and adherence to deadlines
? Track Contributions, pledges, and donor engagement activities
? Analyze giving trends and donor behavior to inform fundraising strategies
Collaboration & Communication
? Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to align grant and donor outreach strategies with organizations priorities
? Work alongside the Communications Coordinator to manage funder and donor impact via newsletters, social media, and the website
? Work alongside the development team to provide support with agency events
Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience
? Relevant experience in nonprofit development, grant writing, or donor relations
? Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
? Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor database systems
? Must posses a valid Driver?s License and adequate auto insurance
