We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Graphic Designer to support our growing custom apparel business by creating high-quality apparel mockups, preparing customer artwork for production, and assisting with light administrative tasks. The successful candidate will also help manage customer inquiries, organize artwork files, prepare quotations, monitor order status, and assist with other administrative tasks that help streamline operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys apparel design, can work independently with minimal supervision, and takes pride in producing accurate work that helps save the team time and supports the company's continued growth. The role will begin on a part-time basis with a clear opportunity to transition into a full-time position as business needs expand.

Objective of this role:

• Create professional apparel mockups for customer orders.
• Modify and prepare customer artwork for production.
• Convert low-resolution customer artwork into production-ready vector files whenever possible.
• Help reduce the owners' administrative workload by handling routine customer communication and project coordination.
• Ensure artwork requests, customer files, and production information remain accurate and organized.
• Support business growth by increasing design capacity and allowing the team to focus on expansion opportunities.
• Contribute creative design ideas for future apparel collections and trend-based products.

Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Apparel Mockups

• Create accurate apparel mockups for customer approval.
• Modify customer artwork to meet production requirements.
• Prepare print-ready artwork for apparel and promotional products.
• Revise artwork based on customer feedback and internal requests.
• Maintain organized digital artwork libraries and project files.

Vector Artwork Creation

• Convert low-resolution customer images, screenshots, and logos into clean vector artwork for printing.
• Redraw customer artwork when necessary to meet production quality standards.
• Ensure artwork meets printing specifications before production.
• Collaborate with the team to minimize outsourced vectorization work whenever possible.

Creative Design Support

• Create original apparel graphics and layouts when requested.
• Assist in developing trend-based and seasonal apparel designs.
• Produce creative concepts based on current events, sports, memes, or customer requests.
• Contribute new design ideas that support future business growth and product offerings.

Administrative Support

• Monitor customer emails and respond to basic inquiries.
• Assist with quotation requests and order status updates.
• Help ensure customer inquiries do not fall through the cracks.
• Organize customer files, artwork, and project information.
• Build simple online stores for customer apparel programs using company tools and templates.

Project Coordination

• Track artwork revisions and project progress.
• Coordinate with internal team members regarding customer requests and deadlines.
• Ensure projects move efficiently from design through production.
• Communicate clearly when additional customer information or artwork is required.

General Business Support

• Assist with additional administrative and operational responsibilities as the business grows.
• Learn new processes and systems to provide broader support across the organization.
• Take on new responsibilities as workload increases and the role expands into full-time.

Required skills and

qualifications

• Experience creating apparel mockups or production-ready graphic designs.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Designer, Canva, or similar professional graphic design software.
• Ability to modify, edit, and prepare artwork for print production.
• Strong understanding of graphic file formats and artwork preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and file management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple design requests simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic administrative or customer service experience.
• Comfortable learning new software and workflows.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience designing for custom apparel, screen printing, embroidery, or promotional products.
