Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Duties
As a Landscape Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing tree care activities, including tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
- Mowing lawns and maintaining turf areas to ensure they are neat and healthy.
- Irrigating plants and lawns effectively to maintain optimal moisture levels.
- Assisting in garden maintenance, including planting, weeding, and mulching.
- Conducting landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, fertilizing, and pest control.
- Operating landscaping equipment safely and efficiently for various tasks.
- Performing snow plowing duties during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring high-quality standards.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including fertilization and weed control methods.
- Familiarity with landscape design principles is a plus.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
