We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and a passion for outdoor work, contributing to the maintenance and beautification of our golf course and grounds. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to lawn care, landscaping, and general maintenance, ensuring that all grounds are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass and landscapes.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance the visual appeal of the property.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various gardening and landscaping tasks.
- Utilize equipment such as excavators for larger projects involving earth movement or construction.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Engage in tree care activities including tree trimming and removal when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members on hardscape projects such as patios or walkways to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment after use, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and machinery safely.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques and landscape maintenance practices is essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
