Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Grounds Crew team for, a FOUR DAY M-Th 40 HR WEEK. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and grounds maintenance, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep of lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas.
Duties
- Maintain landscapes by performing regular lawn care, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in hardscape installation and maintenance, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Clear snow from walkways and driveways during winter months as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic mechanical maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment upkeep.
- Experience with snow plowing, lawn care techniques, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, tree trimming, and mowing practices will be advantageous.
- A strong willingness to learn new skills related to grounds maintenance is highly valued.
