Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the National Cemetery. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care management. The Grounds Maintenance Worker will ensure that all grounds are well-kept and contribute to a welcoming environment to visitors of Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn care activities, including mowing, trimming, edging, and other various grounds maintenance services.
- Operate handheld power equipment, various mowers safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct routine quality control inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Collaborate closely with Project Manager to complete services efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $23.23 - $23.24 per hour
