Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as needed, while adhering to hotel policies regarding laundry procedures.
- Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and beverages to enhance guest comfort.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to meet daily cleaning targets and special requests from guests.
- Primary duties are as outlined; however, you may be required to assist with other tasks within the housekeeping deparment as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
