Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, and monitoring the gummy production line. You'll troubleshoot issues as they arise and ensure all processes run smoothly and safely. This position requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced factory environment, strict adherence to cGMP standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Master Batch Record instructions to maintain high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
- Measure or weigh raw materials following Manufacturing Batch Record (MBR).
- Operation of gummy production line, monitor machinery on the assembly line to ensure smooth production flow.
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment as needed, conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Monitor cooking process, operate and maintain tray washing machine, spread final product across drying trays and visually inspect gummies.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and production room.
- Perform basic calculations including addition, subtraction, and yield percentages.
- Must be able to stand for 90% of scheduled shift and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in training new employees on assembly line procedures and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
