Position Overview:
We are seeking a Bridal Hair Stylist to join our growing team! This role is ideal for a talented stylist who loves working with brides and bridal parties, creating elegant updos, romantic curls, blowouts, and timeless wedding-day hairstyles. The perfect candidate has experience in bridal or special-event hair styling, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about making clients feel their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional hair styling services for brides, bridesmaids, and wedding party members (updos, blowouts, braids, curls, etc.)
- Collaborate with makeup artists and team members to ensure a seamless beauty experience
- Communicate with clients to understand their desired look and provide professional recommendations
- Travel to wedding venues or on-site locations as needed (valid driver’s license required for travel roles)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation and kit
- Stay up to date with current bridal hair trends and techniques
Qualifications:
- Licensed Cosmetologist in Connecticut (required)
- 2+ years of experience in hairstyling, preferably with a focus on weddings, special events, or updos
- Strong technical skills in updos, braids, curls, blowouts, and other bridal styling techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and as part of a team
- Availability on weekends (especially Saturdays), as most weddings occur on weekends
