Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of computer hardware and mobile devices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both macOS and Windows operating systems, as well as experience with software troubleshooting. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional service to our customers in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues for computers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Perform software troubleshooting on various operating systems including macOS and Windows.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to conduct repairs and maintenance.
- Interpret schematics and technical documentation to assist in repair processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their hardware needs.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in hardware.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in computer hardware repair with experience in both macOS and Windows environments.
- Familiarity with Android devices and mobile technology is preferred.
- Strong skills in software troubleshooting across various platforms.
- Experience using hand tools effectively for repairs.
- Retail sales experience is a plus, enhancing customer interaction skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics related to hardware components.
- Previous field service experience is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
