Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality, and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect the restaurant's vision and meet customer preferences.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order ingredients as needed to maintain optimal stock.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Implement cost control measures to minimize waste while maximizing quality.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques into the menu offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen management principles.
- Excellent menu planning skills with the ability to create diverse culinary options.
- Proficient in food production techniques with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
- Bartending experience is a plus for creating beverage pairings with menu items.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
