Our MissionThe mission of the Oregon Tech Athletic Department is to facilitate growth and development of its student-athletes by providing a broad-based athletic program that creates educational opportunities through the medium of competition at the collegiate level. The department also provides personal health and fitness opportunities to the campus community through its Tech-Fit facilities.
Our VisionThe Oregon Tech Athletic department is dedicated to preparing our student-athletes for professional and personal success in the real world by learning the values of integrity and excellence on the court, field, and in the classroom. To that end, we are committed to field teams with the talent and ability to compete at the top of the Cascade Collegiate Conference, as well as regionally and nationally in the NAIA while representing Oregon Tech with dignity and class.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Athletic Director, the Head Baseball Coach is responsible for the administration, fiscal management, and development of both Men’s Baseball programs.
The Head Baseball Coach manages the resources provided by the University that support the essential components of the programs and are actively involved in fundraising, to enhance resources for the athletic programs.
The successful incumbent must abide by the rules and regulations established by Oregon Institute of Technology, the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Minimum Requirements
Additional Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and:
- Five (5) years of collegiate coaching experience.
- First Aid/CPR training complete within one (1) month of employment.
- Champions of Character training completed within one (1) month of employment.
- Ability to effectively and respectfully work, communicate, and collaborate in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to drive a 12-passenger van, rent vehicles, drive in large cities and fly in commercial aircraft.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Multiple years as a Head Coach.
- Knowledge of Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) rules related to baseball and eligibility.
- Leading teams to conference championships.
- Advancing to NAIA World Series or National level post-season play.
- Success in developing All-Americans, Academic All-Americans, or pro-level players.
- Established track record of developing and executing fundraising strategies that secure significant annual support and consistently meet or exceed program goals.
