Position Summary
The Manager, Health Plan Solutions will be instrumental in designing and launching NPC’s communication solutions for health plan clients. This role bridges operations, compliance, and client delivery, ideal for an experienced fulfillment or document operations leader ready to drive broader solution strategy and implementation.
The role emphasizes building Medicare and Commercial member communication capabilities, overseeing CMS-compliant production workflows (including EOCs, ANOCs, and EOBs), supporting platform readiness, and leading client implementations. You will also work cross-functionally to ensure regulatory adherence, system integration, and vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities
Document Fulfillment & CMS Compliance
- Lead the development and refinement of document production workflows for regulated plan materials.
- Partner with compliance, IT, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of member and provider communications.
- Act as a liaison for compliance audits, onboarding, and attestations related to CMS and HIPAA requirements.
- Coordinate system migrations, upgrades, and issue resolution with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Client Implementation & Support
- Work with the NPC internal sales and operations teams to onboard new health plan clients with a focus on communications fulfillment, compliance and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with clients to define business requirements, timeline expectations, and compliance needs.
- Support document versioning, QC protocols, and stakeholder sign-off processes.
Project Management & Vendor Oversight
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including production, IT, compliance, and client services, to ensure seamless execution of regulated communication workflows.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for contracted services, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance.
- Support internal system testing, upgrades, and migrations to maintain platform integrity and scalability for Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial plan needs.
Strategic Growth & Internal Development
- Collaborate with NPC's internal teams to scale operational infrastructure for broader market adoption.
- Contribute insights from hands-on fulfillment experience to help shape technical solution design and platform strategy.
- Support pre-sales efforts with operational expertise, particularly during RFP responses and client discovery calls.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage or Commercial health plan communications, including direct experience managing mandated document workflows.
- Strong knowledge of CMS compliance, including documentation, attestations, and audits.
- Proven experience in managing production and mailing workflows, system implementations, and operational teams in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset.
