Job Overview
The Health Services Manager is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the onshore team delivering contracted health services to clients and/or ACO and MSO partners for AaNeel Health Services. Under the direction of the Managed Care Operations Executive Director, and in partnership with other Company teams will be responsible for assisting in the execution of the overall Managed Care strategy, ensuring the team under supervision delivers services and monitors results timely and efficiently. The Health Services Manager will have responsibility for planning and coordinating activities, distributing workload, performing all staff supervision duties including monitoring of productivity metrics; overseeing Company policies implementation and performing continuous quality improvement activities to ensure Health Services team delivers services efficiently in accordance with Company standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Supervision
- Monitor attendance, time-off requests and timecards for the Health Services Team.
- Ensure there is coverage and task redistribution when a team member is absent or out of office.
- Educate team and monitor adherence to Company Policies as defined in the Employee Manual or any department specific policies and procedures, including participation and preparation of meetings as required.
- Maintain a schedule for group and individual meetings to ensure the team is informed of changes in policy, updates in workflows or any other pertinent information.
- Support team in getting system access, password generation or troubleshooting any issues reporting during day-to-day activities.
- Monitor Productivity by updating and generating productivity reports according to department guidelines and needs.
- Address, document and follow up on any situations that violate Company policies or productivity standards.
- Participate in performance reviews, hiring/firing decisions or any other activities related to team performance and onboarding or offboarding.
Team Efficiency
1. Case Managers
a. Ensure Case Managers are working on and meeting standards for workload assigned.
b. Identify and address barriers impeding case managers meet productivity goals or manage workload.
c. Monitor adherence to policies, procedures and workflows to ensure Productivity and Key Performance Indicators are met.
d. Assist Case Managers and Care Co-coordinators with data and clinical oversight
e. Audit documentation in all systems (AaneelCare, EHR, etc.) to ensure service elements (including but not limited to history, medications, allergies, care plans) are identified, documented, and coordinated for all Case Management interventions (CCM, TCM, AWV, New patient Onboarding or others).
f. Assist team in completing certain activities/interventions to keep up with clients/partners demands.

2. Analytics and Performance
a. Ensure compliance with reports schedule to monitor KPI performance
b. Ensure pertinent information is distributed consistently and in a timely manner

a. Ensure any other team members keep up with assigned responsibilities and contribute to company and department goals achievement.

ACO/MSO/Client Management
- Maintain updated list of clients and partners with accurate contact information
- Maintain updated log of billable/non-billable services provided by Health Services team by client/partner
- Maintain an updated schedule of Monthly Performance meetings with Clients and partners and modify or reschedule as needed based on availability or contingencies.
- Attend monthly performance meetings and document follow-ups and deliverables for both parties ensuring these deliverables are addressed and completed.
- Ensure all provider communications are responded in a timely manner with appropriate response or escalated as needed.
- Notify physician offices on an ongoing basis regarding eligible CCM cases or any other activities conducted by the health services team.

SKILLS
- Patient care experience – Preferred
- Value Based and/or Managed Care experience required
- Clinical knowledge and Proficiency in Medical Terminology required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
- Adaptability to work with various disciplines in multiple locations
- Must be able to work in a seated position for extended periods of time
- Must be well organized with an ability to set priorities and use time effectively
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Flexibility to handle a workload that fluctuates greatly based on team needs
