Position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Heat Press Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating heat press equipment to customize and finish sports apparel and equipment with logos, numbers, names, and designs. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heat press machines to apply transfers, logos, and numbers onto sports apparel and equipment.
- Follow work orders, layout specifications, and design instructions with accuracy.
- Inspect garments and equipment before and after printing to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping equipment in proper working condition.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and notify maintenance when needed.
- Assist with inventory management of transfers, vinyl, and related supplies.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily output and deadlines.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in garment printing, heat pressing, or manufacturing preferred (will train the right candidate).
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to read production work orders.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced production setting.
- Requires standing, repetitive motion, and occasional lifting.
- May involve exposure to heat from machines.
