What we need
Skilled in operating various heavy machinery (i.e. excavator, loader, crusher, etc.). Safely and efficiently transport oversized and heavy equipment across local, regional, and national routes.
What you'll do
- Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment such as excavator and loader.
- Plan and execute optimal routes considering weight limits, permits, and road conditions.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and federal transportation regulations.
- Inspect trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment machinery before and after hauls.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Report mechanical issues and promptly.
- Complete daily inspection logs for machines.
- Maintain transport details when machinery is moved to other worksites.
- Communicate with plant managers and division managers about plant or yard concerns.
- Monitor load security during transit.
- Follow all safety protocols and compliance policies.
- Report accidents, hazards, and near misses
Qualifications
- Proficient in truck driving with experience in commercial driving.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and no restrictions.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operating
- Ability to estimate and distribute load weight safely.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely in various environments.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with excavator, low-boy, loader, bob-cat, crusher, and flat-bed trailers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

- Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
