Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Wash and Detail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wash operations, detailing, and cleaning. This role includes cleaning and pressure washing equipment to ensure it operates at peak performance and meets both customer and company standards for quality and appearance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pressure wash equipment and detailing tools.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
- Perform interior detailing of heavy equipment cabs, including cleaning surfaces, removing debris, and ensuring a tidy and professional appearance for operator use.
- Maintain an organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Follow and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in accordance with company policy to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment
- Familiarity with pressure wash operations, detailing processes, buffing techniques, and cleaning standards is highly desirable.
- Experience in janitorial or custodial services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements:
- Strength & Mobility:
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Ability to safely maneuver, crawl, crouch, climb, and balance under and around heavy equipment.
- Sensory Abilities:
Good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination for equipment handling, and safety signals.
- Stamina & Weather Exposure:
Ability to work in various weather conditions, including exposure to inclement weather for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
