Overview
The Data Integrity Analyst assists all providers with record completion, by utilizing the electronic Health Information systems via analysis of all inpatient and same day surgery records, in accordance with State regulations, Hospital Rules and Regulations, Hospital Bylaws and Joint Commission requirements. The Data Integrity Analyst conducts concurrent and retrospective record reviews for qualitative analysis, plus, ensures record counts for incomplete and delinquent records are accurate, as well, the data integrity analyst notifies and works with care providers to complete records. The Data Integrity Analyst assists with all processes to ensure an accurate electronic medical record via document management.
This is an intermittent remote role. The candidate needs to live within driving distance of the main campus in KCMO.

Responsibilities
- Document management including processing reports and record review, plus regularly updates and utilizes dictation system
- Analyzes Inpatient, Observation, Same Day Surgery Ambulatory documentation
- Multispecialty HIM functions across HIM Operation area such as release of information, chart availability and scanning/indexing
- Processes the Medical Staff Alert List
- Facilitate birth certificate and death certificate processes
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree plus 1-2 years' experience. Experience in a medical record or health information management department, medical office or other healthcare experience with emphasis on management of documents in an electronic form OR
- High School diploma, or equivalent, 3-5 years' experience as stated above. Direct HIM or other healthcare experience accepted in lieu of an Associate's degree
- RHIT or RHIA [or test eligible] Preferred

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $20.69/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
