Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in assisted living, home community care, and memory care settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents while promoting their independence and dignity. This role requires a commitment to resident rights and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining hygiene standards in living spaces.
- Support residents with mobility challenges, including transferring them safely from bed to wheelchair or other locations.
- Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and physical activity.
- Uphold resident rights by treating each individual with respect and dignity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR training when necessary.
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, home community care, or memory care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and resident rights is essential.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of resident information.
- Ability to perform basic cooking tasks for meal preparation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a group home setting.
- CPR certification is a plus but can be obtained after hiring.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
