Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care by managing their appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers, and facilitating communication between patients and medical staff. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in a medical or dental office setting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and referrals to specialists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, appointments, and any changes in their care.
- Assist in the management of office operations, including handling phone calls and responding to inquiries.
- Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
- Experience providing medical administrative support is highly valued.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members.
