Duties:
As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for
- Managing the staffing needs of our patients for home health and ensuring that we have a capable caregiver in each patients home
- It will be your job to communicate effectively with caregivers and patients to ensure smooth and continuous care.
- Recruiting is not part of this position as we have a full recruiting team that provides HHA's, CNA's and Nurses.
- Your position would require you to call the caregivers that are in our computer system and have a conversation in order to choose good matches to attend to our patients
- Communicate with your area Recruiter to recruit any caregivers that you may need or will need
- It will be your responsibility to ensure that the patients have coverage during holidays and vacations that their usual caregivers may take including sick days, etc.
- Computer skills are required to schedule caregivers and show them how to use our check in applications to ensure their hours are tracked correctly
- Regular checkup phone calls to patients and caregivers to ensure they are happy with their assignments
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Track your cases and regularly update (crucial)
