Overview
**Mid America Lodging Group has an available Front Desk Agent (A Shift) position at our brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Frankenmuth, MI**
This role requires a 5-day work week, 35–40 hours weekly, with weekends mandatory. Scheduled shift is 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Candidates must reside locally and be ready to assume the role within two weeks of accepting the position.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and concerns. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, friendly welcome
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries or requests
- Process payments and manage billing accurately
- Maintain knowledge of hotel rates, promotions, and local attractions
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure timely room readiness
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Perform end-of-shift reporting and maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Skills
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using hotel management software (experience with Hilton systems is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Reliable, punctual, and available to work weekends and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods during shift
Job Type: Part-time
