Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering high-quality food and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in fine dining settings.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary standards.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
