Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Assist with food service tasks as necessary, supporting the overall dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous Host experience required, minimum one year experience.
• Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
